On Monday, March 30, 2026, an important milestone took place at the University of \u017dilina (UNIZA). The electoral assembly decided that our long-time colleague, friend, and prominent figure in Slovak science, Prof. Ing. Branislav Hadzima, PhD, would be the candidate for the position of rector for the 2026\u20132030 term .<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Research Center UNIZA , this decision by the academic community is a moment of immense pride. Professor Hadzima is not only the current deputy director of the Research Center, but he was also the one who stood at the very birth of our center. As its co-founder and first director (2013\u20132021), he built a strong team of people and experts from key scientific fields and transformed it into a modern, internationally respected institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entire Research Center team extends its heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Hadzima on his election. We believe that his tenure as rector will bring further development, dynamism, and success to the University of \u017dilina both domestically and internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
