The laboratory is aimed at preparation of samples and test specimens from structural materials. It is equipped with a set of devices for machining, which enable obtaining proper size and shapes for further experimental analyses.
For the surface decontamination, corrosion removal and surface modification, the laboratory is equipped with a pulse laser P-Laser QFC-100.
