From 5 to 9 October 2026, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Denis Anders from TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences, Germany, visited the University of Žilina. As part of his visit, he also visited Research Centre UNIZA, where representatives of TH Köln, Research Centre UNIZA, and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at UNIZA presented their research profiles, areas of expertise, and ongoing project activities. Professor Anders also had the opportunity to explore the research infrastructure and laboratory facilities, particularly those of the Department of Materials Science and the Department of Renewable Energy Sources, as well as other departments of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
The programme also included a meeting with the Director of Research Centre UNIZA and technical discussions focusing on shared research interests, numerical simulations, and opportunities for collaboration on future research projects. During his stay, Professor Anders also delivered guest lectures for students and staff of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
