In October 2024, the EkoMatech 2024 conference was held at the UNIZA Research Centre. The aim of the conference was to present the results of current research in two key scientific areas. The first area was innovative technologies and processes with the potential to reduce environmental impact involving the energy and engineering industries. The second main theme of the conference was papers focusing on advanced materials and their surface treatments with low environmental impact used in various sectors of the engineering and biomedical industries.
