The laboratory is aimed for chemical composition analysis of fuels and combustion products.
For the light element analysis, the laboratory is equipped with two elemental analyzers Thermo Scientific FLASH 2000 CHNS/O and LECO CHN628.
To evaluate moisture, volatile elements, ash and carbon content in samples from various organic, inorganic and synthetic materials, the laboratory is equipped with a thermogravimetric device LECO TGA 701.
The laboratory is also equipped with a device enabling to study the deformation process of ashes from coal, coke and biomass LECO AF700.
